Audi A4 Intermittent Starting Problem
Audi A4 Intermittent Starting Problem. It cranks but will not start. I have replaced timing belt, plugs, speed sensor or crank sensor,fuel pump, coils and maf sensor and on and on.
Went out the other day in the car parked up then came back to start it, the engine turned over (didn't start. If you have just moved your car a short distance and now it wont start, chances are it is flooded. This is because the crank sensor works using magnetism and heat breaks downs magnetic fields so an old or failing sensor is more prone to.

If its blowing the fuse its quit likely there is a break that is shorting some where. Audi s4/a4/a4 cab (b7 chassis). Intermittent no start problems from a bad computer ground.
A Good Place To Start Is To Inspect The Wires That Lead To The Fuel Tank For Damage.

Intermittent problems are a pain, have to test when problem is ongoing. When i go through normal starting procedure and depress clutch i press the start button and i. Also try to hook up a higher end scanner and data log all the sensors when the car actually dies and see if you dont see any funny business.
