Went out the other day in the car parked up then came back to start it, the engine turned over (didn't start. If its blowing the fuse its quit likely there is a break that is shorting some where. Audi s4/a4/a4 cab (b7 chassis). Intermittent no start problems from a bad computer ground.

A Good Place To Start Is To Inspect The Wires That Lead To The Fuel Tank For Damage.

Intermittent problems are a pain, have to test when problem is ongoing. When i go through normal starting procedure and depress clutch i press the start button and i. Also try to hook up a higher end scanner and data log all the sensors when the car actually dies and see if you dont see any funny business.
