I'm a believer in a break in periods for new cars. Do it after you have driven it fifty miles or so. Chang it again at 500 miles, and again at 1000 miles.

Rs models comes from the factory already broken in and driven on a track. Some people prefer to take it easy for first few hundred miles, not me, i am just driving my 10 day old spyder as i would if it had 5,000 miles on it.
