I read on on the forums other audi having the same issues and it being the coil. There is a malfunction in the start/stop system. This informational tsb applies to audi vehicles with a start/stop system.

This Message Appears If Certain Conditions Have Not Been Met During The Stop Phase And The Start/Stop System Cannot Start.

That should tell if start/stop was unavailable due to low voltage. Put the selector lever in position p.
